Tonight on the US History channel is the debut of Top Gear USA. It doesn't look like it will be on the Canadian History channel tonight, I can't find any info if it will be broadcast in Canada....does anyone know?

We won't get it till Series 2 starts in 2011. I think the deal is, the current season can't be broadcast on Canadian TV, much like LOST, The Sopranos and Top Gear U.K. My guess is that airing or syndication rights are just too expensive. However, there's always torrents and Usenet.

Sometimes it's the personalities like Clarkson who make the show.....The Stig will need an American name....

I downloaded the episode and watched it. Pretty bad. Plus it's 17 minutes shorter than the UK version. At least as a journalist, Jeremy can do a somewhat proper interview. Tanner had Buzz Aldrin on the show, spent less than 5 minutes chatting with him about the cars he owed (you had this car and you had that car) and then showed his lap.

Granted, it is the first year but they have a lot of growing up to do. Not sure if they will make it to season 2.

Youtube videos lasted about 12 hours before the BBC yanked them.

Can still be downloaded from torrents or usenet.
