Does anyone ever start up their cars in the winter?
I park my car in th eunderground and wanted to start it up since it has not moved since November. Also, I have a little flexibility to drive it around 3 floors , or should I just leave it alone???

IMO...
You are better to leave it alone through the winter.
& take the battery out, to recharge before putting it back in.
(or put the battery on a battery tender.)
As every time you start the car:
You are dumping gas & condensation into the motor oil...because the engine is running cold.
& condensation into your exhaust system.
It takes like an hour of driving on the highway to get rid of the condensation in the motor oil.
By getting the oil temps up to normal operating temps.
The most wear on an engine is during it's time warming up to normal operating temps.
Which could take 1/2 hour of driving in the winter cold.
It is best minimize the cold starts on the engine, when you can.
PS: from: Trickle charge battery ALL Winter?

Yup trickle chargers on all three till spring!
Just make sure they are auto shut off and turn on. Come Spring when you start the car for the first time, put your accelerator to the floor and turn over the engine. The computer will not allow the car to start and the motor just turns over and gets oil flowing. Then start your car as normal and it will purrrrrr. This trick works for all GM vehicles but not the diesels trucks.

I had to start mine about 3 weeks ago because I needed to hear the engine purrr. Let it run for about 10 minutes. Got it up to temperature and shut it down. Waiting for a few more months.

Fuel Stabilizers
I had a bad experience years ago using stabilizer with a sport bike. Perhaps I added too much "goo". Possibly. The end result was removing the carbs and cleaning them by hand. There was visible residue in the bowls. So no more "goo" for me!
If it has a motor, it is started on a semi-regular bases. I warm the engine to operating temperature to cook condensation from the system, etc.
I've never had a problem in the eleven years since.

This is my first of storing in the Winter and I have been running it every week for half an hour, but next year I'll get the battery tender and let it sit all Winter without starting.
