Default Something Orange this way comes

After giving my father my 2000 FRC last fall, I felt confident that my Vette cravings were put to rest. After all, I was living in a townhouse with no garage, a town which saw snow 8 months out of the year, etc. It just wasn't practical.

Of course those feelings didn't last for long. Within a few months, I found myself peeking at the selection of Corvette's in the US and before I knew it, I became the proud owner of a C6 Z06.

The car that caught my attention was a 2007 Atomic Orange Z06 with a hair over 4000 miles! As a bonus, it was being sold by a Chevy dealer which meant that I wouldn't have to worry about liens, sending money, etc.

I just received a copy of the title and I'm in the process of getting TFX to bring it to Canmore. I should have it plated by the time the roads are free of snow and gravel... which is mid May out here.

I'll post pics when it arrives!

Special thanks goes to Cdn Z06 Mike for his expertise and support!

Ah, yes a ride down the old 1A into Cochrane should be the first trip. Man I miss that road!

Congratulations!! Once Corvette fever is in your blood, thats it, it's there for life! Its the one sickness that is GOOD.

And if Mike had a say in it, you can be sure you got a mint car!

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to the summer when I can carve up the mountain roads in this orange monster.

I'd also like to take it to Race City in Calgary for a track day in June.

Will update this thread as it makes its way here.

Congrats! I always liked AO, wish the ZR1 still came in AO!
I go to Race City too and the track is rough but better than nothing, it's closing after this summer and nothing really ready for a couple years, maybe see you there?

Bill
