Default TPMS Reset

Anyone know how to reset TPMS on 2008 Z06 without any tools? I have one wheel not reading anything.

Thanks

You will need a tool, sadly not 1 of the many that are found on this forum. The sensors used in the 05-09 C6 requires a TPMS tool. In 2010 they put the ones that can be set with an air pressure change, and no you can't get those ones, the 2010 sensor will not work in an 05-09.

I bought a reset tool from tirerack for $105 and it was the cheapest I could find. Any tire store should be able to do it for you and it only takes a few mins.

First of all it sounds like you're going to need a new sensor for that wheel, if it's not reading anything that probably means it's battery has gone dead (although it does sound awfully soon for that to happen).

I'm going through that mess right now actually, my left front sensor went dead on me and I bought a new one from E-bay (it's over $100 for the 97-00 sensor!) and had it installed on the weekend. Today I tried training all the sensors again and now all the sensors except the right front sensor will re train so that one is dead! Argh! It worked just fine before I tried to train them too!
