Default Value of my 1998 Corvette

I'm not saying that I'm selling it any time soon, but I was just curious as to what you guys think my 98 Corvette is worth? I haven't seen any C5s for sale with the amount of km mine has on it, so I was just wondering if mine even has much of a value at all. It is in very good shape (both cosmetically and mechanically), but I think with 213,000 km on it I would have a hard time finding buyers, especially with it also being automatic. I always kinda figured that if I was going to sell it I would first offer it to someone on here and would ask somewhere around $13,000 for it. Does that even sound remotely reasonable? Would anyone on here ever be interested in my car if it were put up for sale? It would make a great daily driver!

Ever since the C7 was introduced it got me thinking about getting my next Corvette. I would never sell mine unless another Corvette was going to immediately replace it though, but at this point in time I am unsure as to whether I'll wait 6 or 7 years and pick up a used C7 or whether I'll wait 2 or 3 and pick up a C6 instead and get the C7 a few years later when prices fall even further. Lately I've been very obsessed with getting a white C6 convertible actually! I've also been wanting to get back into a manual transmission again ever since I drove that Lamborghini Gallardo last summer. I used to always get my cars with manual transmissions but this one I chose in automatic due to it being my daily driver in Toronto rush hour traffic at the time (something I thankfully never have to deal with again) but I miss owning a manual big time!

I've always kind of figured that $10,000 would be my absolute rock bottom price if I were to ever sell this car, but obviously if I were selling I'd like to get a bit more if I can. I think that if this car had under 100,000 km on it I would have no trouble getting $15,000 for it, as I don't remember ever seeing any C5s in the Auto Trader under that price that had under 100k on them.

You can get $12 from the right buyer.

That's good to know, thanks! Did it take a long time to sell? The way I figure, my 98 has probably reached close to the bottom of it's depreciation cycle now, so even if I waited 3 more years to sell it, the price would probably be roughly the same (especially considering the mileage won't go up drastically now that it's not my daily driver) So financially it really makes sense for me to wait a bit longer to get into a C6 since they'll drop in price faster since they haven't reached the bottom of their depreciation.

It's worth about as much as mine at approximately 260000km. $13k might be possible depending on the buyer and you do keep that car very clean.

I bought mine almost 7 years ago at $19k so the sell price doesn't concern me much.

The big "scare" with these earlier C5's is that some of the electronics either cost much more or are not available. The EBTCM module being N/A is the biggest issue.
