FATHERS DAY CAR SHOW!! 26th year!
Hey All!
Every Fathers day Georgetown Hosts their "Classics Against Cancer" car show. On average the show will often attract upwards of 350- 400 cars. This year i am actually co-chairing the event so looking forward to some new and exciting changes!! We are adding a vendors area for anyone looking to sell or promote products or services they offer! A new Kids area, some new food options, entertainment, and some feature car areas!!
Though the show has always really been based around classics, we have opened up an area for 1980+ cars. Sports, Exotics, & Customs! Though this new area will not be judged like the classics we will have a variety of "peoples choice" Awards for those attending! SO... Save the date, bring out the cars and the kids and have a great day at a great event in a great venue! Located at Cedarvale Court, Downtown Georgetown, in a beautiful park right next to the river!
General admission is $6.00/adults, $3/Kids, Car $20/includes 2 people
Vendor Space - Email for details!
GATES OPEN 7:30 AM!!
** ALso Looking for Volunteers if anyone is interested in helping out for a good cause!
Thanks All, Jamie

why is it that almost every show plays the same dated 50's and 60's music?? At least the Corvette show by the Brampton club plays a few songs for every decade and keeps the rotation going until the end........and before everyone jumps on me, it was mentioned that newer models have started to attend.
I hope it turns out to be a good turnout and hey, I may show up but with earplugs

nice !! Bring that nice c3 out!
Hoping for a big turnout again this year!! As for me.. It's cool.. But certainly not going to win any races against the vette boyz.
You should come.. Hopefully we can get some news music playing for you.. Think the 50/60's thing is all nostalgic..

Can I help with anything Jamie?.....the aging board may be missing a few other things ....like not contacting significant sponsors like myself to the event beforehand.....may be missing some extra $'s.
Still think that of all the shows I go to every year this one rules with character. Just because it is in my back yard does not mean it is a biased opinion?

The 50's & 60's play a part ....... and that same guy that has been a town mascot should play with his band... wouldn't be the same without him .... just moving ahead to address progressing demographics is needed.

update...
Show is really ramping up and it should be another great year! We'd love to get a few "car guys" for judging of cars, and always looking for show sponsors and vendors.. Great opportunity for some great exposure. Roughly 400 cars, and 4000 visitors! And a great all round day!

I stopped by from about 1:00 to 3:00
Lots of nice cars, 5 Vette, some nice mustangs.
Too bad the morning rain scared everyone away. The afternoon turned out beautiful.
Way to go Jamie. Great effort.
