Another great choice is Gumout Regane complete fuel system cleaner, sold at Canadian Tire. I know this stuff works extremely well because I was having a problem with a leaky injector on my 2006 Civic, as evidenced from my oil analysis report that showed 7% fuel was getting into the oil. Plus when the car sat for long periods of time (a day or more) it had a hard starting problem (it would crank for quite a while before actually firing up). After using this cleaner, my Civic's engine now has no problems starting even when it sits for a full week, and my last oil analysis report showed a drastic drop in the level of fuel in the oil (only 2%)

If you use Petro Can (ex Sunoco) Ultra 94--it has techtrol instituted in the fuel.

Give the Gumout stuff a try first, it's easy to find at any Canadian Tire and I bet it will get the job done. And if for some reason it doesn't, then try Techron afterwards.

I had the same problem with my 02. I started using Chevron and still had the problem so mentioned it to the GM dealer here and he said their GM fuel system treatment would clear it up. It did and that was 5 years ago and has never reocurred. The longer you can leave it in the tank, the better so if your going on a big drive, it will clean your injectors but needs time in the tank to work on the sender.
