There are -ZERO- brand new ZR1s in Ontario.
I tried finding one, and couldn't.
There is only 1 black 2013 ZR1 left, and a few white 2013 ZR1s left.
The best price I can get on a 2013 was $123,xxx.
Here is some more information for you, I managed to find out the invoice pricing when I was looking for one.
Here it is:
2013 Corvette ZR1
MSRP: $120,000
Invoice: $106,920
3LZ Package; 1se package
MSRP: $9,420
Invoice: $8,290
ZR1 high performance package (includes your cup wheels)
MSRP: $1,565
Invoice: $1,378
Custom Interior Stitching Package - Hydro Blue Stitching
MSRP: $455
Invoice: $401
If you have the cash, buy it in the USA. You will be saving over 30k over buying it here....
Are you looking to buy it ASAP because of the 0% financing??? Remember it ONLY applies to 2013s.
I forgot to mention, I spent nearly two weeks tracking down every single Z06 and ZR1 in Canada that is brand new. A lot of the ZR1s have been sitting on the lot for 7 months+ now. If you can't get it near invoice, just wait a few weeks and call them again. There is a demmo ZR1 in Ontario but the price isn't that good. 115k with 15k kilometers on it.

Thank you, VRYALT3R3D.
0% finance until June 22 on '13's is the incentive that has brought me off "the fence". Locating the right car is the final objective and, based on your search experience, might mean I buy used at a later date.
Again, thank you.

I don't think it is worth paying the premium to buy a new ZR1 in Canada. I was in your shoes a few months ago. Even with no cost of borrowing, the huge premium is not worth it. Also the limited inventory is a factor as well. What colours were you looking for?

Colours - I like the car in all colours but my short list would include silver, and white (the 60th Anniv with black cup wheels), followed by torch and crystal red, and supersonic blue.
I have a silver blue '63 so it's colour plays in to my colour preferences - silver, or Anniv with blue striping - but you've noted there is little to no Canadian vehicle selection.
Did you buy a ZR1?

Well, there is a 60th Anniv. with performance pkg that GM has just put on the road as a demo. Was at the Woodstock show a couple weeks ago. Talk to your local dealer and see if they can get a hold of the car for you.

You can get a broker to handle the import process.
I had your same concerns, but found out you can get the Canadian OEM GM speedometers for $600 new. As for your concern about the dealers, most used ZR1s in Canada(90% of them) are US imports. You should have no issues with a US car.
If you are still set on a new ZR1 in Canada. There are ZERO left in Silver. I was looking for a Crystal Red, Suprsonic Blue or Night Race Blue ZR1...but didn't find any so I didn't buy a ZR1. I didn't want to spend this much on a car and not have it the way I want.
Luckily for you, there are a few of the white 60th Anniv* ZR1s out there.
The following dealers have one:
Dueck GM in Vancouver
Jack Carter GM in Calgray
Shagannapi GM in Calgary
The target price you should pay is within this range: $117-123k. Any more is a bad deal. If it less, then it is a great deal! There is only a 3k rebate on it now. Try and get it as close to invoice as possible. I will try and dig out my notes how much they quotted me a few months ago. The best way to negotiate is to tell them "what incentive do I have to buy from them since you are in Toronto?" dont make an offer, make them fight for your business. Essentially bidding for it. That is how I negotiate my car purchases. I never make an offer.
I hope this info helps.
