Default June 30th - National Corvette Day

Just learned that June 30th is National Corvette Day (in the good ole USA).

Also the Friday immediately preceding is National Drive Your Corvette To Work Day.

Hope the weather stays good for Sunday

Is there a group or anyone besides myself going to the 60th Corvette anniversary at the RenCen in Detroit Sunday? Look at the Great Lakes section.

If I was closer, I'd definitely be there with my '65.

Was in the Motor City with it just a few weeks ago for Father's Day and the Greenfield Village Motor Muster. It's not the same fun Detroit I enjoyed in the 70's and 80's (oh the Freedom Festival!) but I still enjoy and support as many events there as I can.

Now that the British GP is finished and the weather is fantastic we may head out either there or to Port Dover. Will figure it out enroute.

Was out for an hour with Heather today, had to head home. Too many morons behind the wheel up here this weekend. Tuesday will be better.

Couldn't agree more with you Brian about the crazy drivers out there today and the holiday Monday is usually wild as well. For the summer months we usually restrict our cruises to weekdays.

Had that problem coming home from Burks falls last Sunday, 3 morons pulled out in front of me all at the same time from the same side road on Hwy 11 had to jump on the binders to avoid them ( they were doing around 30-40kph and pulled into both lanes I had the cruise set to 115)
