This begs the question, if someone is a rip off artist, do they know it? And will they still chime in on this thread and try to convince you otherwise?

I just received a quote from them, so Davies it is!

I was shopping around because Davies is pricey. One quote I received made it seem like the paint is laced with 24kt gold.

The other quote I received is bang on with Davies.

I guess $300 is a decent price to do both panels.

Wow three bills? I had both bumpers and a rear quarter resprayed on my wife's car at the local Ford dealer last summer for that price. Guess things are just more expensive in the city.

So you're telling us that for $300, they repainted 2 bumpers and a quarter panel.

Man did they use a roller or spray can for that??

No. Removed both bumpers, fixed a couple of gouges in the plastic and sprayed in downdraft booth at the dealership, then resprayed the rear quarter by the gas cap that had some parking lot scratches. Masked off nicely, no overspray at all. Had the car for roughly three days.

Maybe Les, that was the Ford dealer here in town. Honda wanted $385 and Toyota quoted me about the same at $378. Like I stated, prices for services north of the city are just less, much like housing prices, etc.

Anyone good up that way do fiberglass? Around here I was getting quotes @$500/ quarter panel. That was straight spray no body work and many wouldn't touch fglass.
