Default Esso 93 octane gas?

I keep hearing the ads on the radio that some GTA Esso stations have a 93 octane gas. I don't usually go to Esso, I'm strictly a Shell guy but I do look for a sign at them. So far I have not seen one Esso offering 93. Has anyone found one and tried the 93?

The ESSO at Bloomington Rd and Bathurst St (Richmond Hill) has it but I haven't tried it. I'm happy with Ultra 94

The ESSO on Yonge in Richmond Hill has it as does the ESSO on Church at Dundas in Toronto. I've tried it. Haven't really noticed any difference in performance from the 91, the Shell 93 or Petro Ultra 94.

Haven't tried it yet. Never really liked Esso, but if it's 93 and DOESN'T have Ethanol that would be awesome. Does anyone know if it has Ethanol in it??

I'm pretty sure Esso 91 does not have Ethanol:

You ain't gonna notice a difference unless you data log your car to see the difference... Plus if you are stock don't waste your money on 93 or 94 just stick with 91... I'm 12:1cr and there's quite a difference in my car going from 91 to 94...

I did try the Esso 93, and really saw no difference on my 11:1 car. But I think its only pennies off the 94, so i'll stick with 94, unless stuck

I read the pump at Esso but who knows maybe they have changed their formula since I read the sign on the pump?

Some Petro Cans out here and Ontario have 94, no ethanol.

There 94 has ethanol. Shell premium 91 is the fuel in Ontario that is ethanol free.

Canadian Tire 91 is also ethanol free - there is a sticker physically on the pump stating this. Maybe its Shell 91 they use?

Costco premium is also ethanol free, and generally it's about 14 cents a liter cheaper than the premium at Esso, Shell and Petro! For instance, this morning at the Costco in Etobicoke a liter of premium is only 136.9, while premium at the Shell here in Oakville is 150.9.

If you aren't near a Costco though, Canadian Tire's premium is less than the other majors, I believe they are about 4 cents less. Same with 7 Eleven.

For me there is a significant boost in gas mileage using non ethanol gas in my C6, on the order of about 10%! That's why I avoid ethanol blended fuel as much as I can. I just wish there was a non ethanol 87 octane around here so I could get the same benefit in my daily driver, but all of the ethanol free fuels around here are premium.

Gas mileage lol... Sorry I don't worry about fuel mileage in my H/C/I C6Z... I buy higher octane fuel to prevent premature detonation...

For those of us with bone stock cars though, we don't need anything higher than 91 octane to prevent detonation, so we might as well save money by getting better gas mileage. I'd rather keep my money in my wallet than give it to the gas companies, so paying a lower price AND getting better MPG is a win/win for me. If I had a heads/cam package or a supercharger, then for sure I'd run 94 octane and wouldn't worry about MPG at all.
