What is a good time at cayuga for a stock z51 c6?
I took my car to the track on sunday, my best time was 1:25.XX. Average lap was about 1:26.50. My car is a 2005 Z51 bone stock with street tires.
How fast would pros be able to go in my car?

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
I haven't done the Cayuga road course, just the drag strip and Mosport track one day each. So I can't help you on this post.
I envy you guys that can afford the to race yours and have the time to do so. It is DAMN fun and very addicting but I am wise enough to know that eventually, something will break and I am not in the financial position to risk that. If I could, I would have a dedicated track Vette and a Street Vette. I don't baby my car, and its my daily driver, (in the summer), not afraid to put KMs on it, I bought it because I am a Car lover and it's my stress relief.
Hopefully someone will have some track times for you to compare, but most of the people on the forum that track their cars do Mosport and are NOT stock.

I haven't been to Cayuga in a while, but a few years ago I ran 1.24 in my '02 Firehawk with Hoosiers.
Don't know if you'll find any direct comparisons but you can look through previous years at the Ontario Time Attack to see various lap times: http://www.casc.on.ca/timeattack_results. C5 Corvettes were running 1.22's with non-street tires.
Come on out to an OTA event anytime! Great group of folks!

see my other post and join us at the BIG track at Mosport in 3+ weeks
Mr E... I hope you're coming too! Your buddies are missing you lol!
PS I know of C5Z getting well below 20s at TMP (with great drivers)

I used to take my 07 coupe to Cayuga but its too hard on brakes and tires. I did not time a lap.
In May I had my 3rd track day at the Mosport Formula 1 track in my cammed 08 Z06. I timed one lap while learning at 1:38 on Nitto Invos. I can do better.
Mosport is much easier on the brakes and tires and its a thrill!
I would not take my 600+ HP car to Cayuga.

I'm not sure for a Z51 C6, but I have a friend that did a 1:17 with a C6Z bone stock with only Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
I have a stock C7Z and with Michelin Pilot Super Sport, I was able to pull a 1:15.91.
So I would like to say, with a Z51 C6, the car should be able to touch 1:22 easily.
If you can, provide a video of your lap and maybe we can help you out on improving the time. Cheers

probably over 250 passes on my '02 vette at Cayuga, but on the drag strip in the last 15 years or so, I don't bother with the road course as too many imports breaking down on it, plus my car is an A4....actually too many imports breaking down on the drag strip too anymore...
