So today the news stated that after April 2017 the $30.00 fee for a E-Test will be waived. So really, instead of paying out of your right pocket the government will take it out of your left pocket. Oh wait, they are probably working on a new tax to make up for the $30.00.

I had my truck tested this month at a local independent station. The owner said he gets a whopping $11.00 of the $30.00 fee. Thirty five percent to the guy that does the work and 65% for govt administration sounds about right.

An idiotic program introduced by Harris just as emission controls in cars were getting more advanced and tail pipe emissions became a non issue except for much older cars. Add to that Kathleen's failed energy policy which has given us the ridiculous hydro rates to pay for the green energy initiatives and you have province where your wealth is slowly being siphoned from you. Too much regulation and too many policies driven by social agendas rather than common sense... soon you'll have Junior's carbon tax to contend with. Yes, I do get triggered (as my kids would say) by this stuff. The once great province of Ontario is a shadow of its former self.

Just wait,it's only gonna get better.Once Shiny Pony brings in his magic dust carbon tax to keep the snowflakes comfy in their safe places,he will have no choice but to bring in a new tax to bring, nurse and house climate change refugees in his whimsical eco-nirvana...
