Last question.... Are all two way radio channels the same regardless of brand? If I were to get a Uniden rather than Motorolla, is Ch 5 still the same. Having a bit of difficulty finding things without it being online, except for Canadian Tire which carries Uniden.

I can usually get a good 3 days on a single battery charge on the radio's--they have stealth mode etc--that saves battery power!!

Slight change folks... we will be meeting you at the Duty free in Fort Erie.. saves me an hour extra driving to and from Casa.

Also WildWilly55... I am going to guess you have a higher end model as the typical battery life on these rechargeables is only a few hours. Can use reg batteries though. Thats why they cost 70 bucks for 3 at Costco. (Never let the wife shop for gear).
