Michigan’s largest bridge will undergo a major overhaul that will shut down Interstate 75’s southbound lanes for two years beginning Saturday, Feb 5 wreaking havoc on commuters from Detroit to Downriver and beyond

i m thinking, cross the bridge, 94s - 275s - back on 75s hammer down.

wait for Jack to chime in, he may have a better idea.

Al, I think you are referring to crossing at Sarnia when you refer to I94?? Sure, or Fort Erie. According to Google maps crossing at Fort Erie only adds 20 minutes, so the 2 routes are pretty much equal. The advantage to crossing at Fort Erie is that you can make the crossing earlier in the morning before it gets busier rather than crossing at Detroit or Sarnia where it will be closer to mid-day by the time you get there.

I am no navigator. Rick, you know the US roads tons better than me and I would defer to you....

Jack, one catches I 94 at Detroit, just a few miles to 94 then 275 which loops around and back onto 75. Makes no atter to me, Detroit or Buffalo. Which ever is easier for evetone.

Looking at a 9:00 am plant tour on Friday May 26th.

The Museum and plant tour are each $10 for a total of $20 if purchased separately. They sell combo tickets which gets you into both for $16.

Traffic around Detroit on the 275 will likely be a beach not to mention the road conditions, crossing at Ft Erie would likely be better. Trying to get it together to make the trip ourselves.

FYI, the Peace Bridge is under a major construction project. There is only 1 lane in both directions.
Depending the time of day you all head down there may be some delay crossing the bridge.
I was there 3 weeks ago and it wasn't bad. The bad CDN dollar has reduced some of the traffic.
