Mobil 1 Ontario Time-Attack Season starts April 1
The Ontario Time-Attack season sponsored by Mobil 1 returns to the track this season for another year of lots of fun and great competition.
Ontario Time-Attack or OTA offers schools, lapping and time attack type competition for all cars but recently Corvettes have become the most numerous individual make. This series has been running for years and has a great following of driving enthusiasts who are not quite prepared to build an all out race car but do want to exercise their cars as well as themselves in a safe environment. Not just parking lots, but full out race tracks across Ontario.
The best opportunity to start the season is with the discounts available at the Open House at JRP in Mississauga. which is the first place you can sign up for any or all of the season's events, i.e April 1 (no joke!)
The season runs from May at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park driver development track to late August at Shannonville Motorsport Park. Want to get more teaching about how to drive on a race track? Come to the schools. Not sure you want to compete? Come for the lapping. Want to have huge thrills and the experience of a lifetime? Come for the whole enchilada.

Also if you look at time-attack.ca you will notice that last season Corvettes were winning in faster classes than Porsche 911s
Why not come and join the fun? All you need is a helmet.
Where else do you get to do some very high speed driving without the risk of a stunt driving or 50kph ticket (which in real terms has a $10 K or more price tag) ? Open house prices are as little as $235 per day at some tracks which includes in car instruction in the mornings.
