They have?

Street racing has been going on for as long as I can remember, and I used to be a part of that crowd in my teens, some 30+ years ago.

I saw it. Here's the video. The 1:30 mark to see the vette.

That's for sure!

I always enjoyed doing the cruises, but I just never liked how some people drove during them, so I stopped going. Our cars are huge targets and the last thing I need is to get caught up in silly behaviour, or to be found guilty by associations.

Looks like a witch hunt to me, good luck trying to prove what they were charged and impounded for? Would love to know how this turns out.

NFR...I've had run-ins with several of their Lambo members. Usually on 407. Karma.

I didn't go through all the posts in this thread but just got informed by my cop buddy that it was a few tow truck guys that called it in. So just a heads up.

Remember, it's never about the money. It's always about safety.

OPP=Safety by impounding vehicle and laying charges
Tow truck= opportunity to make money by making call

this is sickening - those guys drive the worst endangering other people's lives - a while ago one almost took out my C6 while I was sitting in traffic on Bayview - he flew by in his dually driving on the sidewalk to get to the front of the traffic (probably an accident up ahead) - he must have missed my car by no more than two inches

they cruise the highways like chit hawks. had one cut me off on the weekend, put his make believe flashing light on and came across 2 lanes of 401 traffic to get to the ramp.
