Had enough of this weather. Selling the Vette and buying a truck. Maybe next year we'll have a sunnier spring/summer.

12 hours apart and it is still rising. Now it is snowing. Yikes.

Al, the water came up a fair bit higher then stopped just before the point we would have to start sandbagging. It has been receding now for about three days, slowly but for certain going down.

The town of Minden has been devastated as all the water above them flows through town. As of yesterday the water was still rising. What a mess and it is the second time in four years it has happened. Incredible community spirit with so many people helping to sandbag and get people and pets out.

Thanks for asking and hope to see you soon. The car is still sitting up on the wheel dollies but the road is just about dry enough to get out. Maybe next week.
