Hi All,
RE: LUNCH on the Cruise tomorrow
When anticipating turnout for Saturday, I gave a number of 30 people for lunch (last year we had 21). With the amazing level of support, we sit at 43 people as of now. The restaurant is concerned about timely service for a group this large all at once. I agree that it would be difficult for them and arranged for a 2 course meal as follows:
Choice of soup or salad plus
Choice of hamburger or sandwich plus
A soft drink
The food here is excellent from all accounts from last year and the dry run last month.
The price will be a little less than the average cost of lunch there last year at $25. Gratuity and tax not included.
My sincerest apologies for this last minute change and I hope it does not deter anyone from coming out.
Thanks for your understanding and I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
Lastly, please do send me your T-shirt sizes as SickKids has given me T-shirts for Cruise participants. I would love to get a group shot with everyone in them if it is not too much trouble. Will have them for you at the Meeting Points.
Cheers,
Faraz

Nice job Faraz, perfect menu for a light lunch. This many folks + the regular customers could be a little overwhelming for the staff. But, it is a get together for a great cause and not a race, so there is no timeline, is not a dine n dash. Is a time to relax and enjoy ride and the company.

Good morning everyone,
New member here... But not new to corvettes. Currently on my third (final) one, like the handle implies. I'll be there with my wife in my red 71. Looking forward to meeting some new friends and hopefully run into some old timers! Unfortunately, I won't be able for the entire cruise but will try to tag along for as long as I can.
Faraz, thanks for organizing and best of luck today.
Cheers,
A&Z

Sorry so late on this. My plans today changed a bit.
Still can't really make the cruise, but will be at the launch spot on 404 park in ride before 10:00. Give my donation and drive with youse a bit, then veet off at some point.
