(Tryin this again as I got kicked out last go around when I tried to attach a pic...sorry if this duplicates).
Hello from London, Ontario. First I would like to share a couple photos (attached) of our new acquisition...a 2017 Grand Sport We traded the 2012 on this back in May. We still have the '64 - not giving that up...ever. The GP is one sweet ride.
Also, a quick reminder of our 2nd annual Crown Vettes show being held at the Lambeth Legion on Sunday August 13th, 2017 (just outside London, Ontario). Hard to believe, but our show is now less than one month away. We had 138 Corvettes come out last year (not bad for first time out of the gate!). If the weather is good to us, we are hoping to hit 180 this year (which would put our remaining parking spaces at a premium). Look for me...I will be the guy doing the "no rain please" dance.
Accessing the Legion is too easy. Take Hwy 401 or Hwy 402 to the Colonel Talbot Rd exit (both exit onto Colonel Talbot ( Hwy 4) at different junctures). Travel north for less than five minutes into Lambeth (a small community located 5 minutes south of London). Look for Kilbourne Rd on your left off Colonel Talbot Rd (3rd left after your first traffic light).
Show Day Facts:
Sunday August 13th, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Lambeth Legion, 7097 Kilbourne Road, London, Ontario.
$20 per car at the gate.
Both pavement and grass parking.
Air conditioned building with indoor washrooms.
Numerous door prizes just for attending.
Larger Prizes you can place tickets on.
50/50 draw.
Quad C points awarded for attendance.
People’s Choice Awards for one car in each generation (no Quad C points for a win).
Breakfast served by the Legion Ladies (08:00 to 10:00) in the upper hall.
BBQ lunch served by the Legion Ladies (11:00 to 1:00) on the covered patio.
Bar opens noon to 2:00 pm (lower hall and covered patio).
Proceeds from food and bar sales go the Legion to support our Veterans.
50/50 proceeds go to the War Amps.
Draws to be held at 1:00 pm.
