99 C5 ECM woes...
I was hoping folks around the GTA could help out. I am about an hour west of Toronto and my ECM is starting to die.
Does anyone local have one for sale?
If not where should I be looking to pick one up?

Also, search "ABS Fixer". You can have it repaired by sending it to the USA.

I do not believe "ABS Fixer" or anyone else can repair a 1999 version.
Check the C5 General forum.....there is a ton of info there as well as an interesting thread on how to retrofit a version from later year cars. (which are available and repairable.)

Buy a new one from Dealer. Have Arun program your cars vin and load your tune into it and your off to the races. You can't swap one from another car unless the vin of your car programmed into it. I bought one a couple of years ago from dealer and it was about $200. Aftermarket parts places should have them also.

Burning Brakes
I had Champion Motors do this for my 97. They are familiar with the process. Give Rob a call...

I'm pretty frustrated at this point. The car drives perfectly and then all of a sudden the dash lights up like a Christmas tree: decreased engine power warning, tire pressure issues, all the gauges die, air conditioning clicks off and the damn alarm bell goes off every 5 seconds...
I'm looking to pick up a new ecu and have it flashed with my vin and tune. I hope this solves the problem.

Sounds like a voltage issue.
Check the battery terminals.
Check the wiring at the solenoid.
Check the ignition switch.
Check the grounds.
Most of the stuff you describe won't be caused by the PCM.

I drove the car two days ago and the car ran strong. The computer was still doing all the usual crap. Went to drive the car this morning and the (new) battery was dead...

You still need to figure out what is going on. The PCM doesn't control many of the things you complained about seeing before. If you can't troubleshoot it, then you need to find someone you trust that can. Swapping the PCM isn't likely going to fix the car.
