Hello Everyone,

I wanted to express my whole-hearted thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's cruise for their tremendous generosity and kindness. From talking to people over the course of the day, we all have a connection to SickKids Hospital in one way or another. I especially want to thank you for extending your warmth to my daughter Aleena, she was smiling all day and although tired be day's end, is ready to do it again.

I wanted to say special thanks again to Al (and his sponsor Durham Truck and Equipment), Mike D, Richard and Mike/Dianne (and their sponsor Corvette Central and Lucas Oil) for the raffle Donations. And also thanks to Stephan (STR8MTR) and Alan (GT1Z06) for donating back their 50/50 raffle winnings. Thus far, this great HDR/Forum community has raised $1565!!!

I will make sure to have extra raffle ticket rolls next year. Very much appreciate everyone's understanding and willingness to split pots into tickets and yellow stickies to keep it fair for all!

Special thanks also to Bruce Giles (slacks) as he was running tail gunner and keeping me in the loop over cell phone at times to help keep the group together. Great job Bruce!!!

The car count came out to 31 at the restaurant and 46 people at lunch. We also had a couple of cars join part of the cruise. I hope everyone enjoyed the food. We spiked by 10 people over the course of 2 days who confirmed attending. So, I do appreciate Rhubarb's flexibility in working with us, and yours in being accepting of a fixed menu. We had the restaurant and parking lot pretty much to ourselves!

Look out for the next edition of the Minden Times as we caught the attention of a local reporter, Sue Tiffin. Will post up a link when it is available!

Thanks again everyone, I hope you all made it home safely and enjoyed the day as much as I did. It was TEEK TAAK!
