Don t rush it. Quality takes time. That is why last year was a crap summer, everyone was in a hurry to get it here and that's what happened.

Everyone's always in a hurry for summer to get here, because winters up here suck! But I'm enjoying this little break, hopefully we don't pay the price for it and get 8 solid weeks of crap weather after this weekend!

Glad that Dave got it all fixed up for you, and now you'll be ready to roll when the nice weather comes to stay .
The funny thing was it happened at idle. I actually drove it for a couple of days before taking it in. The engine sounded normal, I thought it was the sending unit. Just in case I revved the engine to 1,000 rpm at red lights so I had oil pressure.
Yes, Dave did an excellent job.

I used to have a motorcycle and January was the hardest winter month as the "itch" to ride always starts after New Year. I can sympathize with you guys and the count down. I'm so happy that I can drive the Vette year round (Except during large snow storms). However, I can't wait till the weather gets warmer so I can drive around with the top off.

I prefer to count in terms of weekends, and there's just 5 until the first day of Spring. January flew past, we're already half way through Feb, tomorrow's Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras... Got a two day warmup for V-Day, the long weekend's comin' up.

Will be here before we know it!

Let's hope there's ALOT of rain, it's Salt city over here, worse than the Dead Sea.

Saw a Torch Red (the Best Red!) C7 yesterday 'oot and 'aboot, looked fanastic, though still painful too look at salt on any Vette.

Oh yeah, 45 more days!
