Tonight would have been a good night for the pre-Season HDR
Baseball and Hockey have their pre-season games, we can have a pre-season HDR.
What do you think. Maybe next Thursday if the weather cooperates?

Hey Stan, that's a terrific idea .. no work for the majority of us on Friday so the night is all ours !!
Even if the weather is less than desirable, we all can still meet up for coffee and doughnuts or whatever
I am in for sure ....

LOL. You guys just don't a clue how to do this. Well you better learn as I will not be attending the HDR's this year and I would really hate to see this tradition end. Oh you may see me once or twice but for what it's worth, I will be incognito this year.
Stan.

Stan I hope that you're ok and not doing this due to some sad reason. But either way, I want to thank you for organizing not only the HDRs but almost everything else over the past really long time. It's a thankless task with no peace yet you did it with a smile and managed to look after everyone. If this means you're going to be a little more sparsely seen then remember you will be missed. I really hope to see you over the summer.

For anyone who was following this thread lets play it like this.
At this point the weather looks a little shakey for perhaps bringing the vettes but lets meet anyways regardless of what vehicle you bring.
Depending on the numbers we'll decide what direction to take. Maybe we just head to a Timmies and have a coffee and doughnut or Apache .. we will figure something out.
Lets go with the usual time of 10pm for the departure to somewhere.
The Tradition Will Continue .. Never Worry Never Fear .. the HDR Gang is Always Near !!!

I haven't been on a HDR in a couple years but I enjoyed each one I did go to. Sad to hear you won't be attending anymore, but thanks for all your hard work over the years!

It's All About Being Agile now a days so lets change the Meeting place for tonight to save some driving time for those that may entertain coming out.
Lets meet between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm at the Timmies located at Hwy 400 and Major Mac on the South side. The usual romping grounds after the typical Thursday night outing.
For the majority that may come out for a quick visit it won't be far from home.

Just an FYI. Toronto Police and the City of Toronto have made it even harder now to cruise the downtown streets around the ACC and Rogers Centre, during home games and any large arena type events such as concerts, all in the name of pedestrian and event goers safety.

No more hot dogs and pizza on those Thursday nights.

Stan, thanks for all that you have done. I think it was 4 yrs ago that I came across the HDR leaving Yorkdale by happenstance. You were/have been very kind/generous with all of us and you will be missed BIG TIME. Here's hoping for some Stan sightings on Thursday nights - won't be the same without you my friend! Enjoy the time for yourself and see you soon.
