Default MRC Suspension Software UPGRADE

We know that there is a software UPGRADE in the US for 2014 to 2017 cars with magnetic ride. (Several threads on the C7 General Forum)

1, Is this upgrade available in Canada yet?

2. The cost in the US is $350. (including installation) Does anyone have a definitive answer about what the cost will be in Canada?

Has anyone had the UPGRADE done?

Thanks.

$350 US approximates to about $465 Canadian with the exchange.

It would be good to know the "official" Canadian price rather than dealer BS!!! But $500 is not too far off, I guess.

Anything that's 35$ in the US is never a direct conversion up in Canada, retailers always mark it up a little more.

So a 35$ gadget in the US would sell for 50$ up here even if the exchange rate calls for 46.50$.

I guess GM Canada did the same thing. Or they simply added a little buffer in case the Canadian Peso goes down a little more. Either way, if the ride improves as much as other have reported, it's worth it.

350 US is what i was quoted
they asked for labour cost to install had to tell them GM was picking up the tab on that

on another note i contacted a dealer in Rochester for the 100 octane tune, might just get both done there, they seem to be much more familiar with it

100 octane tune sounds good, but where do you find 100 in GTA and would have to be run all the time. i m thinking 93 or 94 could be detrimental to the engine.

BOOSTane Premium Octane Booster is formulated to increase octane levels up to 100. Our BOOSTane Premium line is meant for lower compression and two-stroke engines, this is a street-legal product designed for non-racing vehicles where higher-octane fuel is not available

I was at Spring Mountain for the Corvette Owners School two weeks ago and the upgrade was discussed. While opinions varied on the actual benefits of the upgrade it was mentioned that the cost is $650.00 CDN. I have no way of confirming this but that was the amount mentioned and it didn't surprize me with the cost differential between Canada and the U.S.

While I'm intrigued by the overall great reviews the upgrade is getting, that's an insane price to pay.

Wilson Niblett has quoted me:

"The price for the software is $350 US funds and the installation is extra.

Total $625 plus tax CAN funds."

Pretty healthy installation fee considering that the $350 US includes 0.3 hours installation!!

I had it done at Boyers in Pickering last Friday on my 2015 Z06. No charge under warranty.
