UPDATE:

Just giving everyone a heads up. The restaurant has a cutoff at 50 people. We are at 43 now (including maybes). Please don't let the possibility of not having a seat for lunch detract you from joining as if you cannot be accommodated at the venue we selected, there are other options you can explore nearby. In the past, we said seating priority would go to those who say they are in first - will do the same here if needed.

They are bringing in extra staff and cooks for us this day to help accommodate everyone in a timely fashion. Please be patient and they will do their best. It will be an open menu, so whatever is on the menu, one can order, no buffet or fixed menu for this one.

i think we are tapped out with Anthony/SNAPIN NX makin it 51 counting the maybes. The maybes need to decide soon, as others are asking to join in.
thanks

UPDATE:
As of now we are at 52 people. I have drawn a line under those who have mentioned they were likely to attend. The intent is that those above the line should be given the courtesy of priority to a seat for lunch.

Scratching our heads on how to accommdate others who would like to join in. We will look into possibilities with the venue, but worse case come out for the cruise, and if Butler's is full, the main strip at Niagara-on-the-Lake is within walking distance.

On another note, if it is a downpour, it won t be happening, if it is overcast and possibly drizzly like today {Sat, 19th} we will be going, so if some are going to drop out we need to know for the lunch. They are bringing in extra cooks and servers for the day for us, and i don t want them coming in if there are 10 people showing up. Something to think about.
Thanks

Al so long as we give them a heads up the day before and folks respond in a timely manner we should be able to give the restaurant enough notice for contingency planning

i don t think the day before is fair to the extras, maybe they have plans or could make plans and can t, then they find out Friday, they don t need to come in, may be some unhappy peeps. Play it by ear, would like to let them know by Thursday, but no one knows what the weather is going to do, it changes by the day. see what shakes out.
