Default East End Views Cruise - Sat Jul 21st - 10am

Posting this up for Dustin. Main post is on the HDR Page...

COME ON YOU WESTENDERS...COME OUT FOR AN EAST END CRUISE AND SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS. ITS A VERY NICE ROUTE.

Date: Saturday, July 21, 2018
Departure: 10:00am (meet up at 9am)

Beautiful views with amazing roads is a guarantee on this cruise ladies and gentlemen. We will meet for 9am at the closed down Rona on Baseline Rd W in Bowmanville and we will be leaving that location at 10am. There is a Petro with 94 and Tim Hortons across the road. We will then do a nice cruise around the area and lunch will be in Bewdley at either Rhino's Roadhouse or The Lakeview. Please reply below if you are interested. We will likely need to use both restaurants. After lunch we will head south to Port Hope and drive on Lakeshore Road all the way back to Bowmanville where we will finish the cruise where it started.

Meeting point:
Rona parking lot just east of 57/Waverley (off the 401) on Baseline Road W (Bowmanville). The orange star marks the spot.

Thanks for putting this together Dustin!

I did much of this run yesterday; I've always really enjoyed the Lakeshore cruise from Port Hope to Newcastle and it didn't let me down! While the road is a bit bumpy ( at least in my C3 anyway) the views and scenery are very cool. Sounds like a great cruise.

Coming back from Montreal last weekend, I ended up taking a few backroads to avoid traffic and was not disappointed! Lived at the northwest corner of Sauga before the housing boom. I can honestly say I enjoy the runs out east more. Looking forward to it Dustin (though not on your run, for future reference Telephone Road is a nice roller coaster).

I have one in mind for Prince Edward County that includes a free ferry ride for sometime in August.
