Default Off Topic - My Mom

Hi Guys,

My mom just passed away at the young age of 65 from cancer. I haven't met most of you in person but have had txt exchanges with many of you. She had a passion for cars (mostly because of me) and enjoyed riding with me in my vette the past two years on some long impromptu road trips. Just writing this because the CF community has been a happy place for me.

very sorry for your loss - time will heal for sure. Be sure to visit her and take the Vette when you do.

Although I don't believe we've met, I wish I had the opportunity to have met your mom. I'm truly sorry to hear of her passing and may she rest in peace.

There have been way too many people lost to cancer.

So sorry for your loss! I too lost my mom to cancer (in 2009), she was just a couple of weeks away from her 65th birthday. I hope they find a cure to this evil disease soon!

Default My Sincerest Condolences

Sorry to hear about the passing of your mother
I know the pain as I lost my Mom, 2 years ago
It sucks but it does teach you to value and appreciate life and the people that are in your life
Keep your memories close to your heart and that way your Mom will always be with you

Take care

Hi Guys - just reflecting a bit over the past two weeks. Not trying to drag out this thread as we all lose loved ones. But its amazing how versatile a vette coupe is. I mentioned my mom and I did a bunch of road trips while she was sick. I was able to get her wheel chair, walker and oxygen machine in the back hatch easily. I didn't really think about it at the time but how amazing is that. Trying doing that in a 911 or 718.
