Hey all Corvetterites out Ontario way!
Just a reminder that the Corvettes of Western Ontario is holding it's third Annual Crown Vettes Show at the Lambeth Legion, 7097 Kilbourne Rd, London, Ont (same location) on Sunday August 12th starting at 8 am. This years is CWO's 50th Anniversary (1968-2018), and we are hosting the Quad C Concours judging. Only cars who indicate judging on their dash card will be judged. The Lambeth Legion offers both pavement and tree lined grass parking. The Legion is located just minutes north of the 401 and 402...straight north on Colonel Talbot Road to Kilbourne Rd.
The Legion building will be open to our attendees, offering indoor washrooms, and two air conditioned floors to seek shelter from the heat and/or rain (heaven forbid). There is also a large outdoor covered patio from which you can view the sea of Corvettes parked just beyond.
The Legion ladies are once again serving breakfast (7:30 am - 10 am). There have been a few tweaks from last year, guaranteeing a constant supply of food items. They will also fire up the BBQ at 11 am, and will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, and fries. There will be free 50th Anniversary cake for everyone. The bar will open at noon (till 2 pm). Proceeds from food and bar sales go directly to the Legion.
We will have several draws with these proceeds going to our charity, the War Amps. Our DJ will take all reasonable requests.
.Entry at the gate is $20 per car. This event will go, rain or shine. If it rains, the cars get wet, but the people stay dry, thanks to the two air conditioned halls and covered patio.

Burning Brakes
The weather for our show at this moment is looking pretty good . We hope everybody with Corvettes will consider coming this Sunday and like usual there will be lots & lots of prizes. Remember we are the club (Corvettes of Western Ontario) who for years ran the Anderson show and all those prizes. Three years ago we went on our own with great success and Anderson show is no more as they realized how much work it really was. So come on out you won't be disappointed rain or shine.
