This new yellow Corvette was racing with a late model blue/grey Mustang on the eastbound QEW at the 427 at 11:15PM last night.
There was a lot of traffic and this idiot blew by wide open, at close to 200kph, weaving in and out of traffic, with the Mustang just behind him.
Both cars just barely missed hitting other cars, and a trailing motorcycle had to go off the road as a startled motorist swerved out of the way into the motorcyclist's lane.

You want to race? Then do it on an empty road !! And not on a busy highway !

hoping someone kills themselves, is pretty harsh. sad.
i don t condone street racing or aggressive driving when there is traffic, but wishing someone dead is over the top.

This was not just a couple of guys opening it up on a empty stretch of road, but was more like a car chase scene from a Mission Impossible movie. The highway was very busy, with only a few car lengths between cars, and all lanes full. The Vette almost lost it going around one car, and the Mustang was taking even more risks to keep up. There easily could have been total carnage with multiple deaths at the speed they were moving.

As for filing a report, let's all just calm down... summer's almost over.. these 1st world problems will disappear quickly, to be replaced with guys in yellow corvettes try trying to make it up a hill with their summer tires...

Filing a report is not my style. Besides I never got that good look at the cars...it was that quick.

But with multiple deaths every day this week on GTA roads, this is not a laughing matter.

My only hope is the driver reads this thread and realizes how dangerous their actions were.
