Default NO LOW HEADLIGHTS or DLR Lights

Checked the following in my c6 2006 coupe
low head light fuses 2- ok 19 and 21
! mini relay 1- ok number 47 switched it with one that works
Found no power going to fuses I think the relay is not getting power either.
Don't know where to check for the feed to the relay or fuses.
Any help or suggestions thanks Randy

Dunno about the DLR but did you check to see if your car is under recall for the low beam (there is some wire that melts - not an expert) and I believe it is in the fuse box. Check your VIN, my 07 had got the letter.

Here is a link to a thread that has a wiring diagram .. check for battery at the relay contacts (pull the relay out).

This fella says that a ground comes from the Control module, check for a ground at that pin if you can get at it.

Is your parking brake light on? Ie, the lights will not turn on if the parking brake is up, if the switch reading the position of your parking brake is faulty, perhaps its keeping them shut off.

I found when the engine gets hot the low beam and day light running lights wont work. When the engine cools down they work. It must be a problem in the fuse box under the hood that opens a circuit when the car heats up. So I will have to pull the fuse box and check the # 47 relay connections.
I have read a lot of post of the same problem they just need to watch for the engine heat up and they will see the circuit opens. I will have to post when I pull the fuse box and see whats up on the # 47 relay.

I believe when I got my recall on the lights it said they could short out or shut off when car was hot? If I remember correctly? I would take it in and see about recall and go from there

Dave is correct!! Totally forgot about this Mr Randy or I would have suggested it last HDR. I got mine done a couple years ago.
take it to a good dealer. Wasn't a huge job but was a recall and they should NOT charge you. Just call ahead in case they need parts
