Have reached capacity of the restaurant reservation - 70. If you are interested in attending, please make sure you post. First come first served for any spots that come up should someone cancel. Another option for those that cannot get a seat at the restaurant is to bring a bagged lunch - there is a park nearby.

...Post #3 above has who I have down as coming and original post has location of the park.

Hi
I will be coming with my son and this is going to be our first time.
We are flexible for lunch and we dont want to put someone out that is a regular. We would be happy with a chip truck. So we are open. We will go from there

Jim & Shirley from Peterborough, 'Shine Only'.
I know your noting Orillia departure time as 'TBD', but do you have an 'approximate' time frame for meeting at Tim Hortons?

Have not done a dry run yet but thinking leave OnRoute at King City for 8:30am and Orillia leave at 10am.

There are not too many other spots nearby rat123. There is/was a chip truck but I suspect it might be closed at after Thanksgiving weekend. There is a general store where you can buy snack food and beverages but I don't thing they have anything for take out.

You may have to brown bag it. Wonder if the restaurant would put together some sandwich bags before hand for the extra folks? At the bottom of the hill as you go into Rosseau there is a boat launch area on the left that has picnic tables and a washroom (not sure it will be open however). Just a thought.

Thanks Murray. Will you be able to make it?

There is a chip truck across from the LCBO but as mentioned, unsure if it is open after Thanksgiving.

See below for options. I already called Cottage Law but they are closed the day we will be there. Unsure about the other 2 places....

Hate to jump in late but myself and my daughter Karlie would like to attend---if we cannot do lunch that is fine. Rain or Shine---car is constructed of fiberglas and steel---shouldn't melt???

UPDATE: OCT 2nd: Talked to the restaurant and they can squeeze 92 people inside if needed and can make their tented area available as well. They also have about 36 seats on the patio. That said, it looks like we should be able to accommodate everyone.

I will post asking for confirmations a last time as they will need to bring in extra staff depending on final numbers. Please respond ASAP to that post (likely Wed next week - we should also have a view of weather at that time. Hopefully, the weather is great and everyone is still able to attend.

Finally, please bring cash for payments as processing via credit card will be very time consuming given the size of our group.

With the size of the group for the Fall run up over 60 cars, I for sure will need volunteers with radios/walkie talkies to help out in keeping the group together.

Any volunteers - please post up
