C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I am pretty sure I went to the same place and also bought for my C5 for the same price. Didn't work and received a full refund. I ended up buying through dealer and same place installed.

Went over to Bracebridge Faraz, beautiful day for a run, the leaves are great.
Hope you had a good trip.
I still don't know about next weekend, stuff came up that was not anticipated.

www.tpms247.com I have bought a few sets from these guys and they work well.
You are looking at approx $110 USD for 4 of them.

Any GM dealership has such a tool - some will do it for free if you ask nicely because it takes all of 60 seconds.

It's the earlier version TPMS sensor then, unless you converted it to the later version.
They can easily be programmed with a strong magnet. No need to pay a dealer to use their tool.

Ressurecting this as I bought the sensors from TPMS 24/7
Jack / Mark - do you recall if you programmed yours for the C5 the same way as the factory ones? Link to procedure...
I already gave it a shot but wanted to verify (may be my magnets are not strong enough but they worked fine on the stock sensors). Email already sent to TPMS 24/7, but hoping to get it done sooner than later

It has been a while since doing this with my C5 (sold it 12 years ago), so I can't recall if teh car learned the new sensors with or without a magnet, or even if the newer C5's needed a tool to excite the sensor as the C6 does.
If you are using a magnet, you will need a quite powerful one, and I would try holding the magnet right down on the edge of the rim/barrel where the actual sensor is sitting inside the wheel. The closer you can get the magnet to the sensor, the better.
I doubt 24/7 will be of much help - they will probably suggest you take the car to a tire shop.
If the magnet thing does not work, I suggest getting your hands on one of those TPMS rest tools as used on the newer cars. My reasoning is that the tool does send some kind of signal that "excites" the sensor. Who knows, that signal it sends could be nothing more than a strong magnetic pulse. It can't hurt anything and it's worth a shot if you can borrow one from somewhere? Maybe the tire shop who mounted your tires has one?

Anytime you buy new sensors they should be programmed before installation - I learned this the hard way and my tire shop let me down to this end (I won't mention the name).

We each have our own experience of course, but I have never heard of programming before mounting.
