Default Firearms...WTB. Yeah, yeah I know this isn't Kijiji.....

........Kijiji doesn't allow firearms. Canadiangunnutz website is terrible. Prefer not to deal with dealers/retailers.

Im looking to expand my collection. Im on the "hunt" for a few specific(ish) firearms from the used marketplace with little success. No projects or parts. Prefer complete and in shootable condition. Its ok if they're older but unfired.

410 revolver rifle....(kinda new on the market)
Remington Nylon Model 66 (.22LR)

Win Mod 94 Unfired, gold trimmed (30.30, 38.55, 32spcl etc). Pre '64.

I have the proper RPAL to purchase. Will consider other pistols not just those above (like a 1911).

Somebody must have some laying around from an estate or collection they're thinning out. I'd buy an entire collection, within reason, If I had to.

If so please let me know if your willing to part with any of them.

THANKS to those who've reached out so far!

That's a negatory ghost rider. We are, We just can't legally shoot "people" with them ("fortunately" or "unfortunately" all depends on your political leanings). To which I'll keep to myself thank you very much.

LOL. Yeah we are. We are just not allowed to carry like they are allowed in the U.S. unless specifically licensed to do so, mostly to do with law enforcement and armed services. But we also have lots of rules for ownership, transportation, etc.

You CAN shoot people in Canada if they're lying and you know they're lying...and only then.... Just like they said in the movie Armed and Dangerous with John Candy.... (Johnny Larue).....

I'm going to my firearms safety course tomorrow to get into shooting, looking to track down a Marlin lever action as my first gun. First thing I noticed was the lack of kijiji for guns, the canadian gun classified sites are pretty brutal, I can see what a wanted to buy post on a forum like this might work.

tips for your test.

the instructor may try to sneak a dead round into the guns chamber before he gives you the gun for your safety checkout, tell him to PROVE it's not loaded. If you take it from him "loaded" you fail.

know the safety mechanisms on all styles of shotguns or rifles. The lever can be a tricky one to learn. 3 hammer positions, back, 1/2 cocked (safe position) and fully down ( which could fire still if dropped or hit somehow, unlikely, but possible).

You may may have to pick a certain type of ammunition out of a bowl or box and give it to the instructor. Know your rounds and how to identify them. Only rimfire (.22) are not marked on the base of the round near the primer.

How to cross a fence with a gun etc....
Lots of ethics of hunting in the course as well.

Marlin is a nice gun. Tad pricey for what they are. Don't get a big caliber, the kick can be brutal, and possibly make it uncomfortable to shoot, and / or not make you want to shoot or flinch when you do shoot it. start small and work your way up.

good luck

Luffy good luck with your test. Mike gave some interesting tips for the test. I have a PAL but did not take the hunting course, my interest is in trap and target shooting so I did not have to remember as much for the test. My instructor was excellent, learned a great deal from him.

The CGN classifieds section is absolutely massive. No idea why you'd wanna use anything else.

agreed and awful to navigate. Used rifle sellers there seem to think their rifles command almost new/crazy/unrealistic money.

If you see any deals on my wanted list link me up homey.
