Looks like the AS 3+ is an all season tire, I was looking at the summer Pilot Sport 4 S I heard one great review for it but has anyone else put these on?

good grip and wear well, best tire I have ever bought

Installed the PS 4S last fall before I put the car away. As good as the PSS oems and definitely better in the lower temps. The PSS were great tires, but anything below 10c and they were struggling for grip if you pushed the throttle. The PS 4S supposedly have an (outer?!?) tread that has a more flexible compound that is dedicated to grip in lower temps. From experience it works. Much better grip in colder temps (3-4c). On the few warm days last fall that I drove on them, they were as good as the PSS, which they are supposed to replace.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are a newer generation tire than the Super Sport.
Developed originally for Porsche 24 hours Le Mans Racing.

"The asymmetric tread pattern of the Pilot Sport 4S features side-by-side, 24 Hours of Le Mans-derived compounds. The low-void outer shoulder utilizes a new dry-focused hybrid tread rubber for improved dry handling and braking over the previous generation tire, while the center ribs and inboard shoulder feature a silica-infused wet compound designed to increase wet braking performance."

I wouldn't drive them below 5°C temperatures.

But this guy did for this video at -5°C:

Just priced set of Michelin pilot sport 4s at Costco for my car - 245 40 zr 18 fronts - 285 35 zr 19 rears - $2000.00 installed balanced with tax. Don't forget the $70.00 store credit.
Anybody get prices?
