Would have liked to have brought my C2, was a perfect day to drop the top!

Thanks Bruce for posting up the pics.
Nice to see some familiar cars, look forward to seeing the smiling faces behind the wheel at an upcoming HDR.

Rob was there with his green C3 (see the pic above your post) and there was a C4 there as well (an 86 with under 50,000 kms on it, bought new by that guy in 86)

If you were there yourself, you would know the answer to that question.

Tony / Pat - I live a few minutes from Sherway. A few folks I know have recommended Kal Tire as a good place to plug a tire (experienced with low profile run flats). Would you agree?

PS - I was riding my motorcycle with buddies on Sunday or I would have come by.

I have been to that Kal Tire off the Queensway a couple of times, but only with my wife's BMW. I had a set of Nokia tires installed there and they later patched one of them up under warranty for me. I have no complaints with their service but I've never taken any of my Vettes there so I can't say for certain if they are good when it comes to low profile run flats.

I do not recommend them since I had a bad experience with them couple years ago. I was happy with their services before that time and loved the convenience of them being close by. They had mounted up my drag radials and road tires for my stock Shelby wheels.

The bad experience came when I brought a set of new Motegi MR131 wheels (for my DD Suzuki SX4) there to have used tires mounted and balanced. They TOTALLY Fooked up those wheels mounting them and gouged the crap out of the hub bore and back drop centre of all 4 wheels. The car also shook badly on the highway since they screwed up balancing them also.

I complained to the manager and was without my wheels for over 2 months while they covered the cost of refinishing them, afterwards I got them back and they cleaned up the drop centre but the hub bore were still messed up. I was pissed. I also had the wheels balance checked at my friend's shop and they were way off. He rebalanced them and the car drove fine on the highway with no shakes on the used tires.

With the bad experience and my wheels f'ed up I sold them, bought another set of alloy wheels and had new tires mounted elsewhere (I now go see Kyle @ Bramalea Tire), they did an awesome job (no marks anywhere and balanced up perfect). I picked up those wheels with my GT500 then on the way home I stopped in there and rubbed it into their faces when I showed the manager the new tires I bought (that I would've bought there if they didn't screw up my wheels). I also told him that if they did that shitty of a job on the Forgeline wheels I have on the Shelby they would have a small claims lawsuit on their hands. I peeled out of there and never went back again.

If I were you I would stay away.
