Hi Everyone....
I'm a new member. From Ontario, Canada
I just bought a C7 Corvette StingRay Convertible.
I was hoping there is someone in Ontario that might know of a good body shop
to take it to. The rear bumper is damaged. Its Blade Silver and needs to be matched
accurately. any help would be appreciated. Thx, Rob

I know the Humber Chevrolet shop is very good, but again, not the cheapest...
Also, by "damaged" it may have a bearing on how it's repaired. A lot of high end shops are reluctant to repair the composite material Corvette body panels are made from for fear of long-term performance. They might want to replace the bumper. So if it's cracked,it might be an issue. If it's only scratched then, a repair is quite feasible.

Thanks guys to a quick response. Thx CF, patriot and Vetfever.
The damage to the rear started off as a spider kind of looking blemish. The Dealership said they could feather it out and it would never be
seen.so Against my better judgement and the dealer saying they are light years ahead in fixing silver paint with technology. It went out to
a body shop in Orangeville and came back absolutely awful. I've been going back and forth with GM for 2 months now. The best they will
do for me is a new back panel, painted at the body shop of my choice. Problem is all the body shops I look at have 50% good ratings and
50% bad on average. I'm pretty bummed about the whole experience.

Try 427 Autocollision on Evans Avenue
https://www.427autocollision.com/
They did a lot of work on my son's car and it was outstanding. Also highly rated.
Also you might want to consider Champion Motors. They know Corvettes and their body work that I have seen is first rate.

P-car = Porsche
427 has some special designation as a Porsche paint shop. Each spring they host a large PCA (Porsche Club of America) event that has the place filled with Porsche’s. Vendors and other presenters show up as well; it’s a nice event.
Given that they do good work for the Porsche community, I’m sure your car will turn out well.

"We bring the car back to show room condition". thats what I'm hoping for with only 800kms on it. So bottom line is thats where
its going in about 2 weeks. They had 3 Vettes in there yesterday.
