Nothing is going to stop this. I found Zaino to be one of the better products since it does not leave a bunch of oils on the surface but nothing will prevent this. Something about the way the air exits the rear of the car that makes them so dirty.

It has been rumored that the Z06 Spoiler breaks up the air flow up-draft vacuum reducing dust on the tail of the C6.

You will never stop it no matter what kind of car or what kind of wax you use. Just buy a California Car Duster, it will take care of a light coat of dust after driving.

I don't usually have to deal with that as much. They do a pretty good job here in keeping the roads nice and clean but no matter what, I can't keep the tail-lights recess area from getting dirt!

Follow the instuctions on the duster (90% of duster owners DO NOT follow the instructions) that says to wrap the duster in newspaper for several days to wick off extra oils that would normally transfer to the paint, even if the oils do transfer to the paint, it is no biggie as a simple detail spray of your choice and a detailing cloth will have it back to perfect in no time.

I have one and I notice it doesn't get AS dusty as before...but it still does get quite dusty relative to the rest of the car.

Zaino helps, but nothing is going to prevent it from getting dusty.

nothing helps .. not even the Z06 spoiler. Just like the C5 prior. A quick wipe with a QD is the best best and of course a quality microfiber. Mothers Showtime is perfect.

I found the best way to stop this problem, Don't drive It

Or just drive it in the Garage only, it gets boring passing that damn Garage Door so often though

I've gotten pretty good at a quick "limited wash" of the butt.
tiny amount of carwash in water, in a spray bottle.
hose, without nozzle - wet the butt, spray the mixture, gentle cloth or mitt, nozzle-less rinse off.

that method allows me to clean the butt in 5 minutes without having to fill a bucket etc. Just bring out a mitt, the spray bottle, and hose without nozzle.

Mothers Showtime is indeed a very good QD.

A tip for getting them tail light areas free from that annoying dust, This works great for Show day.

Buy a couple cans of compressed air, the stuff used to clean your computer equipment, I can only recomend the canned stuff, I m not sure if you used a Compressor tank for this purpose if possibly oil will be mixed in with the tank air.

Just a thought

Keep it in a secure garage and make sure you have a car cover over it.
