Default Water Spots

My son did me a nice favor and washed my car. He did not get all the water off and now I have hard water spots. I washed and waxed it this week-end , but I can still see there are spot. Anyone have a good way to remove the water spots.

If it just happened this weekend, a good quality polish should be all you need.

Default Vinegar

For serious hard water spots on my C6, I have used distilled white vinegar (full strength). Used a clean cotton rag to wet area with vinegar and then rubbed hard with same rag. It removed all my spots with no damage. Take vinegar off with soft water and dry. For less serious spots you can dilute the vinegar or not rub.

Clay bar will remove water spots....I have also had luck using your favorite road tar remover but only if you have just a few spots.

Vinegar is also very hard to beat on cleaning windows and mirrors.

Thanks for the vinger advice. I will try the 50:50 mixture first. I am assuming you do not have to rub very hard.

A mild polish with a PC will probably remove your water spots. After that process, re-wax or use a paint sealant to keep your finish protected......
