I just finished washing the car and was about to pull it into the garage for quick detailer when I noticed numerous small spots on the hood. I don't know what caused the spots. They were only visible at an angle in bright sunlight. I figured they were merely water spots but the QD did nothing. I then tried a vinegar solution with no improvement. Menzerna Final Polish helped a little but did not remove the spots completely. Before trying Menzeran IP with an orange pad, I thought I'd ask Forum members for their thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I believe they are etched and IP is your best bet

I followed his instructions to the letter and got some spots off my hood that sound very similar to yours.
