Durability may suffer a little bit. I have found it is still more durable than most other products even without ZFX. If in a pinch I would not worry, you will be fine until you can apply a coat with ZFX in it.

I've never used it and my cars look great. I use Z6 before Z2. You really need ZFX more for doing multiple coats in one day, which I don't do. As for durability, If your car is a sunny day driver and you polish regularly, I don't think it presents a problem. It will outlast most everything else out there. Finish with Z8.

I do find myself using CS with a Z8 finish more than the Z2.
