Has Anyone Ever Met Sal Zaino In Person?
Just wondering if anyone has ever met Sal Zaino in person? Or know anything about him and his past...like was/is he a detailer, chemist, etc. I talked to him once on the phone when a bottle of my ZFX dried up and he was very helpful. Does he have a car collection or ever attend shows? Just curious since I have met the owners of other product companys at shows...

I don’t know him personally but he has come out to a few events that I have been at in NJ and is a very nice guy. Last year he was at the Kerbeck toys for tots show and donated products to be raffled off.

I've talked to Sal a few times on the phone in the past when I've had questions about Zaino. He was always very helpful in answering them. I've never met him in person but I think I've seen him on a few episodes of the Soprano's.
Seriously though, if memory serves me correctly I seem to remember reading that Sal was in the paint and autobody business for a very long time. He knows paint and he really knows car waxes and sealants. I believe he got tired of the products that were available years ago and decided to make his own line to fit his needs and those of other high end consumers. He wanted his products to be better than anything else on the market. Better is a relative term so I don't want to start any wax wars but from the products I've used in the past, Zaino for my needs is better.

I haven't met him, but I've spoken to him a few times. The guy must have the patience of a saint to listen to newbs like me all day! He was very helpful when I had a problem using Z on a vette where the paint was on its way out. He mentioned he has 30 years in the auto painting industry, and even came right out and said Zaino wasn't going to work in this instance. I liked his honesty.

Nope-
likewise I have talked to him several times on the phone - incredible guy to take that much time with individual customers.
Was hoping I might get a picture with him at Carlisle, but no luck

I'm curious, does he really have a brother? The company is called Zaino Bros. but we never hear of anyone other than Sal.

Sal Zaino is a voice that only can be heard on the end of a phone. He is a myth, a fairytale, and a legend.
Many have met him, few have lived to tell about it. Some question whether he is real, or just a voice.
I might be Sal Zaino for halloween, but nobody truely knows what he looks like. There are only rumors...

I've met Sal a few times at local car shows in the New Jersey-New York area. He's a super cool guy. I'm sure that Sal has forgotten more about cars, paint, and detailing products than I'll ever know in my life time.
Here's a pretty neat article on the Zaino Brothers:

I saw that Vette in person last year at a show, and it still looks killer.

There really is not a Sal Zaino, he is a robot, does not sleep or eat, works 24 hrs a day. All kidding a side, I have never met anyone in any business who cares more about his products and his customers than Sal Zaino.

Met Sal many times now at cars shows in NJ and at the ECS (East Cost Supercharging) shop in Cream Ridge, NJ. Sal's a real nice guy, likes to talk about cars, currently driving a BMW and shoping for a Mercedes SLR. I think he also has a Lambo (recently sold his blown C5)

I've only spoken to Sal on the phone. Class act. Takes the time to treat his customers right. Love his products I think he needs to raise his profile at Carlisle and other events

Those that say they have "met" Sal in person is synonymous with having met Santa Claus in person. They are really Sal's helpers. The real Sal Zaino lives on the North Pole.
