There's a lot of truth to that. FWIW, I tossed the CA duster at the advice of a pro detailer and use quick detailer and a MF cloth.

What is recommended to remove light tree pollen? I was thinking about using a MF cloth very lightly or would a California duster be safer? I don't want to cover my car with any potential of scatching the clearcoat! I would prefer not to have wash it ever time I uncover it for one day! Thank's for any input.

I would suggest using a leaf blower or CA car duster.

I just use a California duster - we have a pollen problem here which can show up on the car in half an hour, can't be washing that frequently.
