Default Applying Liquid Car Wax

What do you guys and gals use when applying liquid car wax to your Vettes? I've always been a paste wax guy and used the soft pad that came with the wax. Now I'am about to use a liquid wax. Can I still get by using the soft pad or is there something better that I should be using?

I would suggest a soft microfiber applicator pad if you are doing it by hand, or a durafoam applicator.

I like foam applicators personally , and they can also be used for tire dressings. Truly a multi-purpose tool.

Do you guys and gals apply liquid wax to the pad and then to the cars finish? Or do you pour the wax on the finish and then use the pad to rub it in?

Red foam applicator pad, and a sealant, goes on, and off easy.

I do it both ways depending on the part of the car
