Default Waxing, glazing, the whole "order" of operations... will this work?

I've been reading all the posts on how to get the best looking paint. Here's what I've come up with. Some of you experts tell me if this will work from a "correct order" aspect.

1 Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze
2 Meguiar's #26 Carnauba Wax
3 Meguiar's Final Inspection

Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Sounds good. With the #7, apply it thin or it will smudge. I've never used Final Inspection, but I think it will be hard to top the looks of the combo of 1 & 2.

Final Inspection is not always needed at fresh waxing session, but you stages are correct and sound.

Thanks C4 and Killr...

I've also heard good things about NXT and Turtlewax ICE.
I kind of like the Meguiar's products so far.

Default I'm very pleased...

Picked up a bottle of Meguiar's #7 Glaze today at AutoZone. At my age, you can't wax the whole car in one day without a trip to WalMart for some ThermaCare heat wraps for the old lower back. But I did get a start.

Used the Meg's #7 on the hatch, both rear fenders and the hood. Then finished it off with Meg's Gold Class wax. The paint looks like it was just sprayed and is still wet. Man, what a shine! Deep and rich.

Tomorrow night I'll attack the front fenders and doors and see how far I get. Then the front bumper and the big ol butt.

I highly recommend the #7 Glaze. It made a big difference.
