What happened to Adams?

Like I said, I use Zaino....but lately have been using a few Adam's products. I don't care if they're rebranded from another manufacturer...I don't have to pay shipping because they have a local store.
I thought there were a lot of folks in here that really liked his products. [Interesting how this Adam's bashing isn't getting stopped by the mods.]

I use grout sponges as well. They hold up better than a typical "dish" sponge and they're so cheap it really doesn't matter. I can get a few applicators by cutting one sponge up.

I guess I'm asking why they're better than those sponge tire applicators. The tire applicators are also better than typical dish sponges and shaped like a tire, t'boot. But if you're recommending grout sponges, then I will give them a try.

I've found they hold up as well if not better than some of the tire applicators I've tried and they're a LOT cheaper. If you have a nice sharp serrated kitchen knife you can even cut them with a curve to match the tire ones.

I really like adams products, big fan of the butter wax, detal spray and polish, but is this true about the chemcal guys stuff? i just checked out the website and it seems to be the same products "just by the look of the colors" that would be something though, you can get a gallon work of wax for almost the same price as a 16oz of adams!

Yes, the grout sponges are very dense and hold the Z16 better. They are also very tough and last a long long time. I usually toss them when they get totally black as I do not think they would ever wear out. I guess you could wash them with Dawn if you are thrifty but they are pretty reasonable so I just toss when they get dirty.

Try using an electric knife. Works like a charm.

I use the Adam's products on the ZO6 and like the results. Used the Zaino line a few years ago on my 71 Vette and was not pleased with the product. For now, I will stick with Adam's. YMMV
