Default Oxidized Paint repair C6

Recently purchased my first Vette and the paint is only in fair condition. I was hoping to buff out some oxidized paint but didn’t work to well. Anyone have any advise. Before after and product used below.

Do you have a DA polisher or are you trying to do this by hand? If you are doing this by hand and with that scratch remover, I can tell you I know why it didn’t work. A DA polisher with something like the M105/M205 combo should be able to tackle that.

I did this by hand... I do have a cordless drill with buffing pad attachments I could use. Could that work with the M105 then M205 compounds?
Thanks

Hard to say. I don't know the attachments you would be using. I know Meguiar's has a DA system that attached to a normal drill.

Am I missing something here. What year? Is it me or is that a black and white? Where are you located?

That doesn't look like oxidation, looks like chafe marks in a small specific area....

Try 105 with an orange LC pad with a DA and see what happens....

Might have to wet sand that if the 105 doesn't remove the marks in the clear coat....

Looks like severe buffer marks where someone may have burned through the clear coat. If this is the case a panel repaint is the only way to correct it. You might want to run it by a high line body shop and have them look at it.
