Default The dealer touch-up paint is laquer. Is this right?

Apparently the touch-up paint supplier to GM dealers has declared bankrupcy. The third dealer I called had 1 bottle left in black for my 08 Z06. The other two dealers were out of almost every color. As I motored away I noticed the verbage on the container described the 41 black paint as Laquer. Is this right ? The correct touch-up paint for basecoat clearcoat paint is Laquer ? It doesn't seem right to me, but I'm not a body and paint guy. I ask the question of my fellow forum members, is laquer the appropriate touch-up paint for our basecoat clearcoat Corvettes ? Thanks to all who respond to my query.
