I'm getting an 09Z with jsb tint coat paint . It's brand new . Are there any special precautions with the tint coat paint ?

Shouldn't be any different for maintenance. Wash, clay, polish, protect.

You may see a bit of color "transfer" when polishing.

Had the tint coat (deep red metallic) on our CTS ... loved the color change or appearance in direct sunlight. It takes on a pearl type of contrast. Always washed, clayed, polished, and protected the same way as other cars with no issues. Keep 'er clean. Waxes that amplify metallic coats like Pinnacle SSII, Dodo Hard Candy, and even DP MaxWax might help really amplify the paint. Let us know your thoughts if you decide to try ....

I really like my JSB. It can be difficult to show the color(s) in photos though. I've found all my normal products work fine. I haven't tried my Zanio yet, but have been happy with Dodo Juice products. Purple Haze with Red Mist seems the best so far. Enjoy your JSB Vette.

those are some great shots .
I think it all depends on the lighting especially with this shade of blue .
Great pics!

Thanks - catching JSB with just the right lighting has been kind of hit or miss. I like these two. They were taken on my way down from Mt. Charleston (just north of Las Vegas)...

I don't know if it has metallic flakes but if it does you want a wax that has great clarity like petes 53 or dodojuice supernatural or diamond white, or a sealant like zaino or klasse or blackfire wet diamond that will make the flake pop like crazy!

How do you get the glue off of the inside windshield ?
