I ran out of Zaino polish and was thinking about using Meguiars NXT this time around. I have a bottle of Z6 and a bottle of Z8 and wanted to know if the chemical make-up of these products would work together.

I'd like to use Z8 after my NXT application and Z6 to "dry wash" the car in between car washes.

To answer your question, yes. They are just QD's and can be used the way you are asking.
The question should be can you use NXT over Z polish?
I prefer to stay with the same product line.

As far as I know nxt has cleaners in it that would remove Zaino underneath.

Z8 is not a QD however, it is a sealant. It WILL protect the paint unlike z6.
